Smart shocks absorver

Hi folks, I am new around here, i am from portugal and i have a smart f2 city coupe, altought i have a crash with the same, so i have a question that anyone know to answer.
Does the shocks of the smart f2 1s generation fit on my model?My car is from march 2003.
Sorry if the topic is out of place, but i´m in big problems and i need an answer quickcly as possible.

I think they improved the shocks on later models didn't they? so not sur whether older ones will be wise for a newer model.

So the shocks of the 1st generation wont fit on the 2nd one =/!
