Does a forfour have a knock sensor?

i.e. will it adjust itself to using super unleaded or tesco 99 ron if I put it in, or am I wasting the extra 4p per litre?

I know the brabus defo has one & you lose some power as a result if you use 95 ron instead of 98 ron.

not sure about the standard forfour though , does it mention anything in the manual ?

i dont know about that but surely it must be better for the engine, regardless of power

95 ron on a brabus will give you 160bhp , 98 ron will give you 177bhp, but's that's only coz the engine has been tuned to take advantage of the 98 ron.

it may not make a difference to power on the standard forfour's but as roadster same said it may be worth the extra pence to know it's doing your engine some good.
