  • Brabus Performance Airfilter info

Have been doing a bit of digging around ont he topic and have raised a few unknown info on the subject.

what i have found out via diggin around in smart and mitsubishi worlds

    a) HKS very shortly are going to put on sale full induction kit for the Brabus I'm expecting better torque and low down power from this plus a few horses.

the reason for the delay in full induction on CZT/Brabus is the AM sensor which has been unkindly fitted to top of airbox :censor: causing fitment of an un-engineered products to make the car go in safe/limp mode

    b) SW Exclusive are going launch a special airfilter for the forfour range which will be at relative low cost and aimed at replacing the paper filter for the 6,250miles oil/air service on Brabus models.

    c) Pipercross have not got the Viper to fit the CZT/Brabus just yet as they need mule to test. They even put plea on Mitsubishi site!

    d) K&N is the only option at the moment , how pooh is that!!!

    I shall keep digging.

Jetex do one too that we stock!

Just had a thought, we have also fitted 'ram-air' type filters to a 1.3 & a 1.1 petrol & they have both commented on improved performance.
