Hey guys,

What cable to I need to connect my mp3 (ipod) to the smart stereo, also is it possibe to connect my phone via bluetooth to the headunit/speakers for handsfree?

For the phone, have a look at the Parrot range of handsfree kits

Very simple to install, just plugs in between your head unit and car wiring

I use the 3000 Evolution, the control is tiny and is very inconspicuous, and the only other visible part is the mic.

The lead you're looking for is A169 540 49 08, available from any Mercedes dealer. Its a 15 minute job to install it. But it will only work if you have the Radio 6, not the Radio 5 as the lead needs to be plugged into the socket used by a CD changer. :goodlk:

Rich G, I have (soon when i get my brabus forfour) radio 6, this is the one with the keypad, can you use the keypad to dial numbers into your phone using the 3000 Evilution

that cd lead, just phoned local smart centre (6hr drive) and they said it cost $80 AUD is this correct or again are they jus being smart and ripping me off?
