only smart themselves as far as I know.

There was a software update as some point that fixed a few issues etc...

      Re: Slow shifting

Get your car into smart and ask for the software upgrade, it smooths and quickens the gearchange no end on the semi-autos.

        Re: Slow shifting

Does anyone know if these software update release dates are published anywhere by DC. My Softouch last saw the diagnostic machine last september. In theory you could be waiting up to a year to get the benefit of the boffins' tinkering.
That is of course if they're still interested in us.

            Re: Slow shifting

            I have a 6 speed, April 2005 registered, 4-2 Nightrun Brabus -
Will this already have the "upgrade"?

            Or
Do I need to add it to the "Things Smart Liverpool Must do" list?
            Thanks

will smart do it on any age smart? and how much do they rip off for this service?

EDIT - sorry, just seen this is in the forfour section...so unless there is a normal smart upgrade for this?

                  Re: Slow shifting

Thanks fellas, the smart upgrade just smoothens the shift, not quicken,I think. My friend had his done n thats what I noticed.Any aftermarket ones, the shift in BMW's SMGII is what I'm looking for,no delays. The car will be alot faster if the shifting time is reduced.:thanx:
