Beaulieu smart Meet 2008

This is the 6th Annual Beaulieu Smart Meet, and last big smart meet of the year, held at Beaulieu National Motor Museum in Hampshire.

There is a special reduced entry fee of £10.50 per person – children aged 5- 12 years £5.00, children under 5 years FREE - Payable at the entry gate.

Please note that ‘Friends of Beaulieu’ are not entitled to Free Admission as this is a Rally not an all inclusive Beaulieu event.

N.B. Beaulieu have asked for entry fees to be paid by CASH only – there will be no facilities for paying by credit/debit cards or cheques. Please try to have the correct money to pay at the gate.

The admission charge covers the entrance to the smart meet itself, the Palace House and Gardens, the Abbey and Monastic Life Exhibition and the National Motor Museum, plus various rides and drives.


Traders are welcome to attend
If you would like to come and trade at this event please contact Tom Crawford (s2trash) via Private Message (PM) only please.

Entry fees for traders are: £25 for one Trade stand plus 2 staff. All other staff must pay the normal public admission fee of £10.50 each.

Internet Clubs/Website representatives and Regional Clubs.
Please let me know if you would like to attend and I will add your names to the list.

## N.B. All Regional clubs and Internet/Website Club representatives must arrive at Beaulieu by 9am so that they can be parked correctly prior to the opening at 10am when the rest of the parking area will be filled ##


Timetable of Events


Everyone is free to do what they like during the day, but please make a note of the following:-

11.00am Remembrance Day ceremony conducted by Hot-Toddy

11.15am Start of the days Beaulieu smart Meet competition judging. Owners do not need to be present with their cars during the judging. Judges will be in stealth mode whilst carrying out their duties!

Competition Winners will be announced at 2pm SHARP, so please make sure you are back in the main arena in time or you will miss the presentation of Certificates.

1. Best Car in Show – as voted by the Public on the Day (by filling in a small form and placing in designated receptacle on the day)

The following competitions will be decided by appointed Judge’s votes ON THE DAY.

2. Dirtiest Car

3. Best Graphics

4. Best Paint Job – Non-standard

5. Best Regional Club Stand in Show

Come for the day or join the ever growing band of owners staying over the previous night and join us for a lively night out in Lyndhurst. There are still rooms at Stoney Cross Travelodge, Lyndhurst available.

As happened last year there are so many folks going to Beaulieu, it is impossible for me to organise everyone to eat out together on the evening of Saturday 8th.

Everyone will have to make their own arrangements for the Saturday evening, but to make things easier for you I have found a good website with all of the local pubs in the close vicinity of the Stoney Cross Travelodge, if you want to phone and book table.

You can still go in small groups if you wish and we still may bump into many of you during the evening.
