Prevent the dreaded 3 lines!

Some Years ago I had some problems with 3 lines

Wise from experience now when I had the engine on the garage floor I checked those wires on Lilla Svarten now and problems was on its way!

These wires were worn!



It is possible to check them without taking the engine out.

At the right edge of this picture You can see the fix I made on Lilla Grå.

If You look up through the scope You will see what I mean.
It was actually rubbing in different places of the wiring on the 2 cars.

On this picture You can see that it is about 20 cm from the plug.

If You look up through the scope You will see what I mean.
It was actually rubbing in different places of the wiring on the 2 cars.

i also cut a hole about the size of a golf ball from the side of the scoop were the wires go inbetween it and the gearbox.

that way it shouldnt happen again

Yes! I am sorry! I did that to but it was necessary to make space for the extra protection I put on it.
