After a successful testdrive, my 42 Mk1, gasoline, just stopped (home on the yard fortunately).
Impossible to re-start, starter just turns round the engine.
After a while, I realized that there is no sound from the fuelpump anymore.
If there is not an electrical fault, I guess that the fuelpump is used up (10000km).
Anyone fitted some universal pump inside the tank?
Is it possible to fit an external pump instead? I would like to fix the car finally this weekend, and there are no pumps availble here with such a short notice..
Where is the most common electrical fault in this case? The fuel pump relay? Where is it located?
