Hello everyone
Im hoping that somebody can help me, i have a smart fortwo pure 05 plate, and it seems to be impossible to get some alloys for this car anybody know where i can get some from?

Where have you tried?

Smart will be able to order almost any of the smart range of wheels in.

Have you tried ebay - there's usually loads of alloy sets for fortwos for sale on there...

I tried the smart garage they only offered me a set off brabus alloys at 1400 not including tures and they werent really what i was looking for.
They said teae would be the only ones to fit the car with the offset of the tyres.

it can be done but its not advised. i had them on my old city coupe and while the wheels looked good the ride comfort was far from good. there was a wheel wobble at about 40-50mph which would disappear at about 55 and then return at 60+. no amount of wheel balancing would sort it out so i ended up living with it

I had the 3-5 stud converters and lowered 30ish mm on eibach springs and had done nice wheels with low profile 195 tyres and it was superb at handling.

How about roadster steel wheels and get them all sprayed up nice

That's what I have on my Jet Black Pure, wheels also painted black. Approx £30-35 per wheel each brand new from the dealer and a couple of cans of Hammerite gloss and I have wheels that accept 195/50s with none of the leaking, buckling, and general scabbiness that afflicts alloys. Worth considering.

my 3- 5 stud wheels
with aluminium spacers plates you have to be careful that tire places fit the studs properly , as the threads are soft aluminium make sure
they dont cross-thread them & strip the threads , it happened to to me & i had to buy one replacement spacer .

i just haven't any idea about the wheels, i don't know what the tyre dimensions are, i know what the offset is but i haven't a clue what it actually means.
